Journal says: Chip's been playing fantasy football with friends from bible study since 2013. After a first couple years of disappointing finishes, he started the third season slow and barely squeaked into the playoffs, he ended with a championship team that year and has strived toward victory ever since. The league has transitioned to include family the past several years. It has become a great way to connect with those loved ones that are across the country. Now, (as commissioner) Chip has learned: to show up early for the draft, the draft isn't always where a championship team comes together, it takes time to research recommended players to drop or pick up for your team, always try to find lightning in a bottle, take a chance on a rookie who is showing progress, and always be a good sport - remember, it's FANTASY football, not REALITY football. No matter how far behind you think you are, continue to press forward!
