Everybody Loves to be Loved♥Pass It On

Have you ever been standing in line at a grocery story, just having a blah day,and a stranger walks up and says something like this, “I really like your shirt/earrings/purse.” It totally makes your moment. It causes you to look up and say oh thank you.  A smile will come across your face and that mundane moment has changed to a rather nice warm feeling.  I really think that taking that kind and sweet feeling and passing it on is an important part of life.

Today, I want to thank those strangers that take the time to speak out and say, “I like that!”  You know them as the angels in the gallery.  Seriously, there are so many of them in the Lily Pad gallery, that take the time to look at our hard created page of love.  These pages are of our most precious commodities, our children, precious pets, family and friends.  To have someone say something kind about them is like a piece of chocolate that we get to enjoy but not one calorie!

I love the thought of the sensation of chocolate melting on my tongue but not taking up residence on my hips.  I went through the gallery and not to highlight the Stand Out pages, but  something completely different.  Comments that I read and just said, wow, that is the sweetest thing to say.  I bet it made the artist of this page feel good.

Let me start with some of the heart felt comments coming from the art journaling challenge:

from Dalis to Trista

“OMG… you nailed it!!!!!!!!!! This is so freakin’ cool Trista! I can’t believe how much you packed on those tiny circles!”

from THEMrsPeel to Purlz76

“Agnes, your creativity has no limits and I love that you make it all into a song for the heart…these are amazing on it’s own right, and even more amaizng together, you so wonderfully rock my world!!!!!!!”

One more, from Mirjam to Cfile:

“holy guacamole Christa! This is brilliant! i am in awe at how your 4 weeks blend in to each other! Fabulous job!”

Oh those were some fantastic kindness that was passed on, because you find cfile leaving this love on Sahndra’s page:

“Beautifully done! I love the dark brown background and the focus it draws to this previous photo… Well done!”

That makes me smile too!

A dramatic page by christelle, that showed the deep emotion of hurt, brought pure kindness out in the simpliest form.

from Ellie:

“sending hugs”

See, two words, and how powerful they are to touch a person that created a page, that will touch them with kindness.

Karen Perry left this comment for louso:

“this is just adorable i love the emphasis on your photo and as you know i love the photo treatment on all your pages”

I am betting louso does know, because Karen leaves love all the time!!

So, please think about those that leave love for you and how it makes you feel, and pass it on…
