Gratitude Notecards

Hello pad scrappers!!!

November is a month that we typically give special notice to showing gratitude. It’s the month when we pause to recognize all of the things that we are thankful for. Today I want to share with you a simple way to put gratitude in practice with gratitude notecards that you can use to write a simple note to those people that you are especially thankful for.

I created four 4×4 sized notes using this month’s Create Crate collection. At the top of each, I typed out “I am grateful for you because…” and then I added a simple element from the collection. I also added a neutral textured background paper.

Then I flattened the layers and placed these four notecards on one letter sized document. I printed out ten copies so that I would end up with forty notecards.

I used a paper trimmer to cut each notecard out.

Now, I have a complete set of gratitude cards that I will love writing notes of thankfulness to friends and family! And I know they will love receiving these as well!

These can be easily made into a notepad and I plan to do that with these. To do that, just cut out a 4×4 square of cardstock and place in the back of the stack of cards. Then align the top edges of all the cards and the cardboard. Glue the top edges (tacky glue is great for this), making sure to completely cover the entire top edge. It is helpful to use clothespins or clamps to hold them all tightly together until dry. It takes a couple hours for them to dry. You’ll know it’s dry once you don’t see the solid white of the glue anymore.

You could even tie ribbon or string around these and include a pencil or pen for a small gift!
