About a million years ago, when dinosaurs roamed the earth, I wrote a book about friendship. I think you can find it on Amazon now for a buck. I wrote the book with my friend Wendy and we had a ball! I’ll link it here in case you find a dollar change in your couch and want to buy it. (Friendly legal disclaimer: the link I share may not be a dollar, but there are several options out there that are cheap. You’ll have to do that search on your own there pal.) Fabulous Friendships
So, I decided I really wanted to give a big shout out to all the friends out there! Here we go……
When you have other responsibilities like family and work, you have to get creative with your time together – whether you are fortunate enough to have a girl’s weekend here in BFFs or just a cocktail on the back deck like me & my friend Amanda, you will take it how ever you can get it! I heart us layout
Ever watch Grey’s Anatomy? When Christina told Meredith that she was her person – that stuck. We all need ‘a person’. They can help us navigate through the toughest waters. So thankful that Carrie found hers! My Person
Sometimes we get blessed and have a bestie right in our own family! Here Cheryl did a great page about her friendship with her daughter in Better Together and I love how Kari featured her husband in the page True Friend. That sure makes family reunions all the better to attend!
Here, member Vrielinkie showed that sisters don’t have to be blood – they can go right to the soul! Soul Sisters I love what Cheryl did – what a great page about the friendship and bonding with family.
Ahh yes, man’s best friend – can either be feline or pup! I love the take on friendship here – outside of their own species :) Whether you have a Desk Buddy or Fur Friend – love is love!
I love a good tribute page that goes through the years – I’m always a sucker for these! Love what Jess did here – she even titled it after her friend’s favorite New Kid’s on the Block song lol
Old friendships are the best – they know all your mess and still choose to stick around. Am I right? I love what Maureen did with her page Hello Happy Day in her tribute to this old friend. A Cher concert – I could die. (((jealous)))
Sometimes a single page tribute just won’t cut it. Here with the “Screw Someday”, Angie layout made sure to take the time to go to NYC with her mom for her 60th birthday, right after she beat cancer! Do the bucket list NOW – no more waiting. I couldn’t agree more. Next time, take me with you.
This last one – got me right in the feels. I love reading about when friends who meet online get to see each other ‘IRL’ (in real life). They were intentional with their friendship and went the extra mile or two to make this happen. In this layout, Rachel made sure she captured the meetup and how her heart hurt that her friend later passed away. I love this – hiya
Friendships are blessings! Here’s to the old ones, new ones, pets, finding our person, family by blood or by choice. It’s all good!
