Meet Our New Designers!
Happy Friday, Pad Scrappers! Polly Liana here, delighted to introduce you to our eight fabulous new designers at the Lilypad! They opened their shops here this week and let me tell you: our Awesomesauce Boss Laura really knows how to pick ’em! Each designer offers something new that our community needs and we’re thrilled to welcome them to our site. Here’s a little something about each of them that I lifted off their websites and forum posts. Please give a warm welcome to these talented ladies! We’re so excited and lucky to have them.

Lynn Grieveson (Lynng):
Kit and Template Designer (link to shop)
“For those who don’t know me I am a dedicated scrapper as well as a designer for many years. I can’t imagine a day without scrapping or designing. I am English but grew up in New Zealand and, although we move around a lot, I currently live there with The Husband and two daughters.
Despite rain and floods and a booking disaster by The Husband making the summer road trip we are supposed to be on a complete wash-out, 2016 has got off to a great start as far as I’m concerned because I am here at The Lilypad!”

Paula Kesselring (PaulaKesselring):
Mixed Media Designer (link to shop)
“My name is Paula. I live in Brazil, São Paulo and I’m wife to my best friend Ricardo. We’ve been married for almost 18 years ( We made it on February, 6th!!!). We have 2 girls- ages 21 (Isabella) and 16 (Gabriella). I love to be a wife and mother. My biggest hobby and my “job” (Being at home with the kids is my full-time job too) is digital scrapbooking I paper scrapped for years and years. In may of 2006 I got into digital scrapbooking and have loved it since. I started scrapbooking for so long that I can’t remember, I was a traditional scrapper until 2005 when I discovered the digital !!! I’m designing for almost 3 years now, but I’d been working with Photoshop for a long time before that (18 years now) making stationary for kids !
YAY!!!!I’m so excited and honored to be part of this amazing team!!! TLP has always been a dream for me and now the dream has come true!!! ❤️❤️❤️ What a warm welcome!”

“My name is Leah and my husband and I and have two daughters. I live in Kent, New York quite happily in my husband’s childhood home with his parents (who are awesome), a cat, a dog and two fish. I have been digiscrapping since 2006 and designing since 2011.
I can’t even begin to say how excited I am to be starting this new chapter in my design career here at TLP! <3″

Bella Gypsy Designs (Gypsystar/ Lena Gardner), :
Kit, Planner, Journal Card Designers (link to shop)
(From the Bella Gypsy website) Tabatha and Lena are sisters…the very closest of sisters and the very best friends. In 2005, Lena was living in Ohio and Tabatha was living in Kentucky. Lena was a retired paper scrapper (Read: She wasn’t very good at it.) and Tabatha discovered digiscrapping. Tabatha asked Lena if she’d be interested in learning about digital scrapbook designing and Bella Gypsy was born. In 2008, Lena moved closer to Tabatha and now they both live in central Kentucky, an hour apart. They get together all the time and secretly plot to take over the world.
“We are so excited to be here! It’s so nice to see so many familiar faces and to have such a warm welcome from everyone here!”

Scrapping with Liz (Scrapping with Liz):
Template Designer (link to shop)
“My name is Liz or Elizabeth in real life. My mom always hated nicknames for Elizabeth. Not sure how she feels about my “digi” name. I have 5 kids. 3 bio. 2 adopted. I homeschool them all. I live in the mountains of Western NC & I’ve been married for 16 years to a most awesome man. I enjoy playing piano and running….in my spare time (ha!).Then of course I have this template designing business that is like my oasis at the end of the day. I seriously love making templates & digi-scrapping.
And I’m so excited to be here!”

Wendybird Designs(wendybird) :
Hybrid Template Designer (link to shop)
Wendy is the first designer at the Lilypad to exclusively offer hybrid templates and cutting files (svgs) that are used with personal cutting machines like the Silhouette and the Cricut. Her designs are ideal for scrappers who are interested in creating classy, two and three-dimensional gifts and decor. Her directions are very clear and her products are accompanied by a video that explains how to construct the creations. Best of all–because they are templates– they can be combined with designs from other Lilypad designers to create lovely, one-of-a-kind things that you’ll be proud to display and give as gifts.
Wendy says, “Hi, I’m Wendy … and I’m addicted to paper! I live in a suburb of Phoenix, AZ with my fiance and with some of our combined 4 kids. In addition to designing hybrid templates and cutting files, I work a day job and run the Booster Club for my son’s high school marching band. I started paper scrapbooking after my son was born 17 years ago, but I found that I didn’t have the time or space to keep up with the mess and so I only got a handful of pages done (and they are pretty hideous!). I discovered digital scrapping in early 2009 and was immediately addicted! It didn’t take long before I got the paper bug again and delved into hybrid crafting. I started selling my hybrid templates in 2010 and haven’t looked back since! I’m so super excited to be here!” (She’s been really helpful in the forums with questions about cutting machines, so check out her posts, if you have questions.)
Have a wonderful weekend, Friends! Be sure to check out our new releases, on sale for 20% off today.
