Hello everyone! We are coming to the end of the first week of MOC (Month of Challenges) and hope everyone is having a good time and feeling inspired by all of the challenges. I have a quick design tip for you today. Sometimes I struggle with the placement of elements (even with templates). My pages tend to be on the filled side with lots of clusters and one design rule I have found helpful is Visual Triangles. This rule is just what it sounds like – arranging elements to create a visual triangle that leads the eye around the page. Here is an example of Visual Triangles in action:
There are actually several triangles on my page, including flowers, word art, snowflakes and arrows. Here is a closer look at those visual triangles:
If you are ever struggling with the placement of elements or overall design of your page, visual triangles are a great place to start! I hope you find this tip helpful. :)
Until next time ~
