Hello pad scrappers!!
I’m so thrilled to be back with another Template Tuesday post for you today! I’m sharing a layout I created for this month’s Template Challenge that can be found in the forums here.
The template for this month’s challenge has been generously provided by Paula Kesselring. It has eleven photo/paper spots running at a diagonal angle across the page. This template is perfect for scrapping an even that you have lots of photos of or a photo shoot.
I decided to scrap photos of my teenage daughters on Halloween. They dressed up together as Lilo and Stich and did a little photo shoot together, with their little brother taking their pictures. I loved the photos he snapped and wanted to scrap them right away.
I decided to only use nine photos, so I deleted the upper and lower photo spots from the template. I am a rather simple scrapper, so I also deleted the paper confetti and stitching from the template. I also added a patterned background paper with a solid paper to give a border around the page. I kept everything else from the template as is.
I had so much fun selecting photos for this template!!! I am typically a one photo scrapper, so I was fun to scrap something a little out of my element.
I used the Happy Haunting mini-kit by Designed by Soco and loved sprinkling little buttons and elements among the photos on this layout. I used the “Halloween” word art provided in the kit for my title after adding a white stroke around it, to give the look of a sticker.
You have all month to create a layout using this multi-photo template for the template challenge!! I can’t wait to see what you do with it!
