Hello friends!!
Over Digital Scrapbook Day weekend I did something that I had been putting off for WAY too long! I uploaded and sent Project Life and other scrapbook layouts from 2017 on to be printed. In total I had 303 8×8 and 12×12 inch layouts printed.
To say that I was excited to get these layouts in my hands and into albums would be a huge understatement!
I finally got all of these into albums and into my storage cabinet earlier today and thought I would share my scrapbook album storage with you. It makes me exceptionally happy!!
I have all of my Project Life layouts in 12×12 albums organized by year. I have an album for every year starting in 2011. I have all of my other layouts in 8×8 albums. Some of these are organized by year, but not all of them are organized. That’s a goal for another day.
All of these albums are in a blue Glass-door cabinet I purchased from IKEA last summer. This cabinet will hold up to 18 12×12 inch albums comfortably!!
I have all of my 8×8 inch albums on the top shelf of this cabinet.
The other two shelves are filled with 12×12 inch Project Life albums.
I have other 4×4 inch mini albums on the middle shelf. I’ll move these as that shelf gets filled with more Project Life albums in the future.
I do have a few other albums in a Kallax Shelf Unit with books. There are some 8×8 albums holding some of my very first digital scrapbook layouts, and some 6×8 albums I used for special projects.
My kids were almost as happy as I was that these are now in albums and available for them to view. I love seeing them looking through these pages and reminiscing about the memories they captured.
Seeing them looking through my albums is always a great reminder of why I love this special hobby!!
I would love to hear how you store your scrapbook albums! Leave a comment below or in the forum thread I started in the Chatty Pad in the forum here.
