Photo blending. I know, it makes some of us want to run away screaming like Godzilla is hot on our heels. When it comes up in a Speed Scrap, we shake our fists at the Digi-Scrap world and say “WHY? WHY?”. When it’s mentioned in a Challenge, we bury our heads in our hands and cry out to the Gods of Scrap about the inhumanity of it all. (OK, maybe that is a bit dramatic, but you get the idea).
All that is gonna change today! Blending a photo into a background, or into another photo can be done in many ways, as with most scrappy endeavors. I’m gonna briefly show you one way. It’s so quick and fun that you are going to seriously kick yourself for your initial fear and anger over the thought of the task. And, hopefully, you will have just one more tip in your creative arsenal. Psst… I won’t tell anyone that you were once a chicken. Promise.

Oh, and once I was done with this little video, I completed that page. Wanna see?
So there! Easy Peasy, right? This tutorial used PS Creative Cloud, but I’ve worked with PSE forever as well and am pretty sure it all works the same way. Holler if you have any questions or if you know of a better way. I’d love to see your next blend!
Enjoy your week!

Thank you so much for this! I hate that I suck at blending. It’s been on my list of things to learn for a long time. This helps so much! :)
