You Put Your Right Foot In

Feet. We depend on them!
While there are very few kits with actual feet featured in them, there are a few in the store that have footprints, shoes, and legs (here and there).
Just Jaimee’s footprint brushes are pretty neat. Did you notice how each pair is different from the others?
Michelle Godin’s Moody Blues kit is popular amongst the featured foot layouts. Sure, why not? It has a sneaker element in it that practically screams, “Look at your FEET!”
Little Butterfly Wings and Mari Koegelenberg’s school oriented kit shows off a pair of legs in funky tights and sneakers, just like a teen talking on the phone on their bed…yup. Legs and feet can be expressive, too!
Kate Hadfield has TWO foot tracks in this kit. One with, and one without shoes on. (I used the bare foot tracks in the Title Header) If you’re wanting sneakers, shoes and the occasional sock, Kate’s your doodler.
And now for some layouts!
Wish I Were Here by Jen: The picture of the view past her feet and the title says it all, don’t you think? Nice nail polish, too.
The Blues by Keely~B: See? Here’s the Moody Blues kit here and below, too.
Walk by Pattryccyc: This is adorable. C’mon. Feet can be adorable in shoes. Why else do some of us adore shoes?
Little Toes in Waves by Znthia122: Beach baby feet. Maybe I wasn’t looking in the right places, but I didn’t find as many cute little pudgy baby feet as I expected in the gallery! I love this one, with the water rushing past. You can feel the sand between your toes.
Comfy Toes by kim21673: I believe this layout was featured on GSO last year? Hilarious. Perfect framing in the window, and really funny journaling right below.
Now, if you aren’t a fan of your feet (they are always hurting, darn it!) I found a couple of pages on a yoga website that directly address feet!
9 Poses to Prevent Bunions & Relieve Bunion Pain | Yoga International – Don’t let the title fool you. It’s not just about bunions, and the poses can help you relax your feet and legs.
Yoga for Your Aching Feet | Yoga International – This one goes into more depth about the structure of your feet. If you’ve got fallen or flat arches, or walk like a duck with your toes pointing outward, you need to read this.
And if the yoga exercises don’t help, try a Pink Bouncy Ball or a larger tennis ball and roll it around the bottom of your foot. It feels great! Almost as good as a foot massage. And you can do it while you sit at your computer dreaming up new layouts featuring your feet or your family’s feet!
Remember, be nice to your feet. They take you everywhere!
