It’s time for mobile highlights again! After all of the excitement of American Thanksgiving this week, checking out the mobile highlights is just the thing we need to get back on track.
This first layout by cristinac81 jumped out at me right away. I love the way she used the background paper to create her “Day in the Life” layout.
This layout by iampinay25 has so many great things going for it. What jumped right out at me though is the brushed use of the plaid paper on the background. It provides just the right grounding for the rest of the layout.
Simplicity always jumps out at me, partially because I have a hard time doing a layout like this myself. This layout by mrs2a50 is so simple and understated that it creates a classic look. I love the touch of the very small stars on the background paper.
digiscrapper82’s layout is the opposite of the last one. There is so much going on here, that it’s so full of energy. Sometimes it’s hard to keep a layout with this much going on from looking overwhelmed. The use of the black and white photo here helps that balance.
scrappinglifeandstuff has a great photo for this layout. What is more striking than the photo though is the clustering and balance on this layout. Everything seems to have a perfect purpose on the page.
It took me a minute to realize this layout was a holiday layout. I love the use of non-traditional holiday colors on the layout by klee73010. The page conveys so much energy, it’s hard to not smile when looking at it.
Well that’s it for this month. Keep sharing your layouts using the hashtag #the_lilypad and maybe you’ll be featured next month!
