It’s that time again – time to take a look into what TLP Peeps are sharing on social media and what people are tagging with #the_lilypad! Let’s check it out!
This first layout, by intense_magic, struck me right away. The papers here and the shadowing on them make it look very realistic. This layout really goes to show that spending time working on the shadows on your page can make all the difference.
This layout by staciahall really uses the idea of layering paper pieces to make an impact on the page. Also, the use of a non-traditional color scheme really makes the layout stand out.
We still can’t escape Frozen! I love this kit by Sahlin Studios and Britt-ish Designs, and neeceebee does a great job using it to document a Frozen experience from their Disney World trip. My favorite part is the photo corners, bringing a pretty pop of color.
This December Daily page by idocumentlife truly is what I always wanted my December Daily to be. TGhe pages are various sizes, there are all little bits and pieces stitched around, and it uses some great elements from Just Jaimee. My favorite part – the use of a journal card as a page.
This December album page struck me for its use of color. When working on holiday albums, it’s easy to get stuck into the red/green/white color scheme. This layout uses so much color and it makes it stand out among all the rest.
In this layout, cheyang09 does an incredible job of working with simplicity and making it look interesting. I love the way the elements, cards, and papers are combined on this layout. It makes a black and white layout very visually appealing.
The first thing I noticed about this layout by myeverydayphotolife was the use of triangles. Upon second look, what really stood out to me was the way the journaling and title work fit together on the bottom of the photo. Incorporating the title among the journaling helps to keep the blocked look to contrast the triangles.
Well that’s it for this month! See you on the flip side in 2016!!
