Froggy Finds: Alphas (continued)
Welcome back, Pad Scrappers!
Polly Liana here, back with more finds from the Wayback Machine. Today we are searching for alphas— those wonderful little letters and numbers that make your titles POP. Like yesterday’s post, we are looking back over ten years or so, toward the beginning of the Lilypad, to find products that may have been overlooked. You know that feeling when you’re going through an old box and you find something amazing… “Oh, I remember this! I’m so glad I found it again!” That’s the feeling we’re going for.
Today, let’s start with finds from Valorie Wibbens. I have always loved the way she pushes the boundaries with her creativity and her alphas are no exception. One of my all-time favorites is the “A Bit Worn” alphas because you can clip any paper or photo to them and they are designed to look so realistic. And you can’t go wrong with the FREE and adorable “Pollyana” alpha. Lastly, the cork-a-licious “Be Back Soon” alpha is so quirky. Check them out:
Next up are alphas from Amy Wolff. Like Valorie, she’s got a wonderfully wide range of product and Amy’s work is full of whimsy. Here are a few of my favorite old-school alphas, including one made of license plates! I love her itsy bitsy alphas too because they come with six to nine sets of tiny alphas– a great value:
Lastly, Sabria Dupre has been turning out beautiful alphas for over ten years. Love her clever combinations of colors, textures and patterns!
Love finding all these alphas, dusting them off and including them in my layouts! They coordinate really well with the modern products and they’re also a really great value. Give these alphas a try and I’ll be back next month with more Froggy Finds!
For now, head our store to grab some of this goodness. Then post your creations in our gallery for some love. We hope you’ll also join us in the forums.
Hope you’re having a great weekend,
