Rachel Jefferies Mixed Media Challenge - DEC 2020 + November Winners

Here is mine. The photo of the mushroom and the forest behind the elements are mine. I am lucky enough to live in a 'green space' among an industrial area. Included in the space is a nature reserve full of trees and nature gone wild. At certain times of the year there are mushroom aplenty for me to shoot. Photography is my way of connecting with nature and getting lost in the moment (or hours) and just forget about everything else. I am fairly new to journalling though so I prefer to use a song lyric to express my feelings (in this case Paul Simon's 'Kodachrome') which I hope still fits in the challenge requirements.

Life went a bit crazy in December (thanks Covid) I will be back asap to check all of these out and leave love in the gallery once I am caught up on a few things! :beat
 
I love my walks on the trails and conservation areas where I live. Mine is the forest floor covered in leaves and the smell of the earth.

This photo is of where I walk to every day. I live in the middle of a city but this is in a nature center less than a mile from my house. This area is void of dogs today; the left side of the stream is where the dog park is. I love to watch the dogs have their playdates, too!
