Journaling reads:
Hey you! I hope that when you’re reading this that you have improved your focus. I’m not referring to the ability to stay on task – I’m talking about the elimination of irons in your fire. For so many years you wanted to do it all – at the same time! When you were younger you had a full-time job, a part-time job and attended college part-time. Then after graduating you started a family and life calmed down as much as it could with a stepchild and an infant. Then came another child. Then your own craft business, followed by church obligations, combined with scouting. And you had to say “yes” to everything – even at the expense of your time.

So, at this twilight stage of your life, subscribe to old and tired adages: stop to smell the roses, don’t burn the candle at both ends, there’s no time like the present. Pare your activities down to one or two things that you’re passionate about. And give yourself the gift of time…

So, Wow! This was rough! I just cried and cried! I am sorry. I can't read anyone else's. I could barely get through my own. Everyone's pages look beautiful! And with this one I have filled in all the days I had left blank. Username here I come!

Love the idea for this challenge, but had to think hard about what I would tell myself... Not easy! I'm a girl thinking that another 5 years would be almost impossible to survive. Lollll

Here's my layout... and as requested, the journaling is listed in the credits in the gallery. I've also outlined below...

Journaling: Dear me: FORWARD PROGRESS. You must work on forward progress – do not allow yourself to be solely a dreamer. Don't stop dreaming, but put your lists into plans, and put plans into progress. On this day in 2018, you have dreams of a future move, wishes for many family travels. You are happy to go on adventures, but it is only for immediate gratification. You are happy to sit where you are. You must not let life pass you by in this way. Your kids are watching, and your family needs your support. To get where your dreams want to take you, you must work on forward progress. Whether you read this note next week, next month, next year, or next decade - always be sure to remind yourself of forward progress. Take on a few power hours, where you plan your next moves in different areas of your life. Break those plans down into attainable, progressive achievements. Give yourself a few gold stars, and move forward to the next level. No one would wish that you stop living or enjoying life as it is, but a goal without a plan is just a dream.

Microsoft Word counted this as 195 words for the journaling requirement.
