journaling:
Looking back on this trip now, it has a certain nostalgic feeling to it. I started to realize in the past year that this would probably be one of the last trips that we will take as a family with Melissa. She’s nearing 20 now and she will be in college and out on her own before we know it. I cherish the moments that we spent exploring the lonely places of Evanston. I lost all the pictures but these two in a hard drive crash, so I especially cherish these two.
I was victorious! I had kept a photo of my girl I used for the Bobble-head challenge from last year that I knew I wanted to show my girl's normal head! Woo-hoo for procrastination! hahaha

Thanks for the fun!
This was a challenge I welcomed upon reading it. I knew exactly which layout I wanted to use. Scrapping more of the rappelling Santa photos from our trip to Venice has been something I wanted to do since I created this layout introducing this Venice trip during my first MOC experience in 2019.
Original layout:
I re-used the bottom photo as my smallest photo here and added two more photos, one with me smiling next to a street-level Santa. I wrote about my obsession with photographing the Santas while we were in Venice. Much of what I had added to my posting, but not my layout, in 2019
