journaling:
Looking back on this trip now, it has a certain nostalgic feeling to it. I started to realize in the past year that this would probably be one of the last trips that we will take as a family with Melissa. She’s nearing 20 now and she will be in college and out on her own before we know it. I cherish the moments that we spent exploring the lonely places of Evanston. I lost all the pictures but these two in a hard drive crash, so I especially cherish these two.
It is kind of a strange time when you kids transition to adults and how that impacts things like family trips, etc. My oldest is 18 and started college this year, so it's definitely been something on my mind too. Anyway, I love how your re-scrap turned out. The color palette is perfect for your photos. Thanks for playing along with my challenge!!
