dont worry, I WAS Mrs Overthink!!!! wisdom comes with age LOL you still have a way to catch up with me Don't worry, love you!!!!!!!!
Thanks for the fun challenge! I love lots of pictures on a page! This is the sights in Mobridge, SD - a remote little gem.
Using "Under Pressure" and Heartfelt @MrsPeel you know how the photos connect and the story they tell
@MrsPeel - Cynthia, I'm not sure if this qualifies for your twist or not. The photos are taken in different places around the Tucson area and are largely different. However, two of them are cactus but different varieties. You can decide. And my elements are stars (3), paint splatter, flower, succulent, washi tape (2) and a flair.
These are all Valentines that my father gave to my mother. They span the years from before they were married, 1943, to 2 years before he passed away in 1984 on their 40th wedding anniversary. My father was 18 years older than my mother and this was his 3rd marriage. Their friends didn't think it would last. I thank my mother for keeping scrapbooks of most of the cards that were given to her and organizing them by holiday. That made this so much easier to put together!
most certainly DO and I LOE YOU SO SOOOOOO MUCH!!!!! now that the chat, challenge twist is done and they all hate me LOL I will call you as soon as I eat and feel a bit more relaxed!!!
@MrsPeel Let me know if you think I should remove the journaling. I've marked each photo, but I thought the journaling would help in explaining how we all related. Elements (aside from two word art strips): ruler; string; blackboard; leaves; clip, glasses; paint splatter
How they link is in the gallery. My 5 elements are a journal card, footsteps, a word strip, magnifying glass, flair, a paper clip, and a scribble circle.
Cynthia....So sad... I am so far behind... Just made it to this thread and found I missed a chat with you.... bummer... would have been there if I had known... I wanted to be caught up before looking at todays challenge... Liz PS we will be hard pressed to top your page, and I agree with the ones who say it is going to take some thought... I never take the easy way out... this sounds like an interesting challenge....
For MOC Day 10 I used the "Life is an Adventure Part 2" Collab to make my "10 photos that relate" layout. I chose to use 10 photos from my retirement trip to Australia and New Zealand in 2014. There is at least one photo from each stop on our cruise.
Here's Mine! I'm not 100% sure it meets the "twist", but I think it does. Let me know. The way all 10 of these places/people connect is that they are 10 of the things I knew I would miss the most moving away from my family in California.
These 10 pictures are all from my back yard. My elements include: 1. Ribbon 2. Button 3. Orange Flower 4. Green Flower 5. Yellow Flower 6. Brown Flower 7. Red Flower 8. Journaling Circle 9. Six leaves/branches 10. Bow
