Hi everyone! Our Slow Scrap today goes along with Summer School Week 3: Journalism.

Today, I'm inspired by a song from Hamilton: who lives, who dies, who tells your story?
Will your story be a biography? Or an autobiography?

As I'm sure you can guess, we are going to do an About Me page, but we are going to narrate in first person. First person is me, I, we.

Now, your about me can be any story you want. This is a slow scrap, so you have lots of time to decide. And I'll start you off with a hint: no photos required. So, feel free to tell the story about breaking your arm as a child, or seeing your partner for the first time, or finding a four leaf clover or whatever makes your heart happy today.

    1. Use a minimum of 3 papers.
    2. Use a minimum of 1 journal card. You do not have to write on it, it can be a filler or quote journal card.
    3. Use I, Me, or We in the first sentence of your journaling. Your journaling should have a minimum of 5 sentences, more are always welcome.
    4. Include a minimum of 3 round objects on your page. (Buttons, flairs, etc.)
    5. Add a date: at minimum the year.
    6. Add a piece of word art or two or three or more.
    7. Photos are optional. Add any other finishing touches, as long as they don't contradict with the above instructions!

Please post your completed layout in The Lilypad gallery. GALLERY RULES: Layouts must contain at least 50% TLP products. (Templates count as 15%.) Uploads must be less than 250k. List all credits; no off-site linking allowed.

All layouts are due by July 24, 2021 at 10pm EDT/7pm PDT.

Here is the inspiration layout I made:
(My journal cards are the On The Road card, the green pattern, the Notes from the road, and the blue with triangles)

I used a pocket card under the title and behind the photo as a mat.

I enlarged the journal card - it's under the text and zebra.

Thanks for the great challenge, Courtney! After thinking about it, I knew I wanted to scrap this crazy story of what I did to my dad when he frightened me by being "the mummy".
