Love all of your papers. Great story and I'm glad your train experience was a good one. We took a train from Chicago to Oakland (and then a bus to San Francisco) back in the 1980's. They didn't have a sleeper going to SF, so we sat in coach. Times were a bit different, lots of smoke everywhere. But overall, I'm glad we did it. I loved the observation car and the dining car was pretty special too.
@michelepixels Do it! Next on my list is the Cardinal. It goes through Ohio, Virginia, West Virginia and hits the major cities - D.C., Newark, and New York.
