It's Day 1 of MOC! I'm so excited to kick off this year's event with our first challenge!

This is a journaling challenge, Brought to You by the Letter _____. You're going to choose a letter that has special meaning to you - maybe it's the initial of your last name. Maybe your kids' first names all start with the same letter. Maybe you have a certain letter that has been lucky for you in some way, or you have a nickname and want to use that letter. Whatever your letter is, you're going to journal about it. I encourage you to really tell a story here, so at a minimum, your page must have at least 10 sentences of journaling. In addition, your letter should be a major element on your page - make that letter stand out so that it is easy to tell what your letter is.

I chose the letter D - it stands for dogmom, something I am proud to be and have called myself for over 20 years, but not everyone understands what that means. So here's my story and page on being a dogmom:



Specific page requirements:
  1. Choose a letter that has meaning to you, and make that letter a major element on your page. It must be obvious at a glance what your letter is.
  2. Include at least 10 sentences of journaling about the meaning of your letter. Word art or word strips do NOT count as journaling.
General requirements: Your page must be a new page in order to count for the Month of Challenges. Your page should be uploaded to the TLP Gallery and not an outside hosting site. Please post your page in your page thread you created in the MOC Layouts Folder. You should have one post per completed challenge page. If you complete all 31 challenges, your thread should contain 31 posts. Please do not comment in the participants’ page threads so we can keep them clean. You should also post your page here in this thread, and people can comment here if they wish. Pages should contain at least 75% current Lilypad product (currently for sale in the store). All MOC pages must be posted in your main MOC page thread by 11:59 pm eastern time on February 2 in order to count!

hmmm... I assumed wrong when I thought that I had this MOC thing down (after 3 years!). You started off with a super tough one!!! I have NO idea what letter is special to me! Numbers, no problem. Words, I got this. Letters?! Shoot :hummm

yay!!!!we have started and some great looking pages already and I love your sample page as well Julie!!! Now off to think about a letter.........................
 
In the rules it says the layout should be posted in the "MOC Layouts Folder", but the layouts which have been posted so far seem to be scattered all over the place. Can someone please provide a link for the "MOC Layouts Folder"?
