January 7th : The Bucket List
Hello!!!!
Happy Monday , hope you are all having a great time and feeling accomplished at the start of the second week of MOC!!!
One of the things I love about MOC is also one of the main things I love about the scrapbooking in general : the chance to get to know people through their pages, and feel closer to our community even if not talking one to one often. Some of the most treasured friends in my life are scrappers whom I got to know through their pages, and this challenge will give us the opportunity to know a bit more about our dreams and goals! As the title indicates, we are going to be scrapping our Bucket List!
So, what is a Bucket List?
The rules for your bucket list page:
1. Create a page highlighting your bucket list of items you hope to achieve in your lifetime. Your list must have at least 5 goals listed. The list should be the main feature in the page.
2. If you have already achieved an item on your bucket list, you should show that by ticking it off or making it different from the ones you have still to achieve.
3. This is a list - no more than once sentence per bucket list item. You do not have to use complete sentences.
4. If your journaling isn't in English, please translate the items/goals to English and post it in your page description together with your credits.
In order to highlight your bucket list items, you can include photos or elements related to your list items, you can have fun with numbering your list with different fonts and alphas and you can create some fun title work. But remember that your list should be the focus of your page.
Being as old as I am (just turned 60 last September!) I have seen mine change a few times, but the core of it remains… there is the number one that is to live enough to see my daughter marry a guy that loves her and probably see at least one grandchild, then most involves travel, places I would love to go to, or re visit, people I would love to meet, … so…what brings your heart absolute joy? have you got any of it accomplished? what is in your list?
Here are some of mine - I made two versions, one trying to go for the clean, more minimalist style, and the other a fuller one, giving freedom to my element hoarder's heart
I have used different fonts and highlighting the items that are done:
-I will be linking the pages to my gallery in a minute, just in case you would like to see the products I used-
Remember your page must include:
1. A Bucket list of at least 5 items.
2. A difference between accomplished and yet to be accomplished items.
3. Journaling must be in list form; one sentence per item with an English translation, if necessary.
Remember, please, you should also follow the general MOC and The Lilypad rules:
Your page must be a new page in order to count for the Month of Challenges. Your page must be posted in three places:
I'm so excited and looking forward to get to know through your dreams and hopes or life achievements...every page of yours is a little gem and has a a soul...lets see those gems shine!!!!!!!
And in advance,
Thank you so much for playing with us!!!!
