DYD- It isn’t too late!
I’m jamming now, and this week was chocked full of events, memories and pure craziness. But, seriously, isn’t that what December is made of? I took a ton of photos this week due to many of the events being pages I am going to make individual pages, some even double page spreads to give a spotlight. Last week, on the blog, I shared with you Don’t Give UP On Documenting Your December(DYD), and if you missed that, please go and get some inspiration to do your DYD>
The Documenting of December for me, is to get the thoughts and photos organized so I can go and fill the book with all (as in more) of the joy that happened.
Last night, I was the Ghost of Christmas Past in our church’s Christmas play; Scrooge and let me tell you I was busy all week. Driving kids all over for school, bible studies, caroling, and now work, plus regular grocery shopping and cleaning. I so didn’t want to lose the momentum of the pages being made and am so glad I have Just Jaimee for her Ready-To-Go 12×12 Pocket Page Templates for the last month of the year!
Earlier , I went thru the Ready to Go templates for the week, and prepped my photo to be taken in my head(somehow, typing it out on the templates, makes me think more about snapping photos). I also had some down time, and was able to put together the cover page for my book! The back page will be the same background paper, and when done, looks so nice!
I absolutely love the red date strip that runs vertical on the left side of the page on the templates. It gives a solid consistency to the book, that will be a great. I like to pop these in and then afterwards due the full pages of events on the pre made pocket pages, or a photo that didn’t make the cut. One of the things about Just Jaimee for her Ready-To-Go 12×12 Pocket Page Templates is there are things I would forget about, but are great fun. She included a place to pop in the weather report for that week. I did a screen shot from my computer and pasted right on the template.

Because I had all the photos except the play ones on the Just Jaimee for her Ready-To-Go 12×12 Pocket Page Templates, last night at 1030pm, after the play was over, and I was still buzzing, I wanted to see the photos my family took during the play and after. I got so inspired, I quickly put together a two page spread about the play too. I know I have a few more pages I will do to fill the book. But……………this is the best part, if I don’t do a page, say of my girls first day working at Wendy’s, I don’t have guilt because I do have it saved on a page already. If I want to go more in depth to their joy of working, I can also.
Just looking at the two pocket pages down with Just Jaimee for her Ready-To-Go 12×12 Pocket Page Templates amazes me how much happened last week. I have it down, and saved, and am ready to take on next week.
