Hello scrappy friends!!
I was recently inspired by a layout I saw on pinterest to create a layout with a big bold title, using elements to create the letters.
Here is the paper layout I was inspired to scraplift for this:
As you can see in this layout, the letters L-O-V-E are spelled out using elements, mainly buttons, to create the title.
I started out my layout by placing the an acrylic and water color alphas on the page to spell out my title. I decided to use the word “love” for my title as well because it could be easily centered on the page using big bold alphas.
I then started filling in the alphas with lots of elements, mostly using buttons, brads, flair and flowers. I created clusters with the elements on my layout rather then spacing them out as on the paper layout. I also chose to use four colors, pink, yellow, green and blue on the letters.
I completed my layout by adding a black and white photo, a solid, textured background paper a word strip and a tag.
I had a blast playing with lots of elements to create clusters to form each letter for this and look forward to using this technique again!! I also had fun choosing elements from lots of different kits. I used elements from February 2020 Storyteller by Just Jaimee, Love Song by Allison Pennington, Like No Other Itty Bits by Bella Gypsy, Get Your Read On by Pink Reptile Designs, and Serendipity by Designed by Soco.
