Hi everyone, Sarah here. At the beginning of the month I posted about the BYOC digi/hybrid project that EllenT and myself were working on using the April BYOC. Today I’m here with an update to showcase some of our favorite projects from the month and to share our thoughts on the process.
Ellen completed eighteen layouts using her selections from the BYOC. Check out her Digi Style thread in the forums to see all of her pages for the month. Here are a few of her favorites from the month (images are linked to the gallery for credits).
Ellen shared with me: “Mixing the BYOC products was so easy because everything matched. lol But I guess that’s the point! This was a lot of fun and I would love to do it again. But maybe seasonal rather than monthly.”
I wasn’t quite as prolific as Ellen, but I still managed to complete twelve hybrid projects over the course of the month. To see all of my projects check out my Hybrid Style thread in the forums. Here are a few of my favorite projects from the month (also linked to the gallery for credits).
I had so much fun creating with this awesome collection. The way everything plays off of each other is amazing and makes it so easy to work with a variety of different products and different designers.
Thanks so much to everyone that has encouraged us with your sweet words throughout this project. It was a ton of fun and I think it would be awesome to revisit this idea in a few months (and hopefully I can share even more projects with you then). I hope this helps shows the incredible value and choices available when you mix and match BYOC products and that you all had fun following along!
