New Uses for Journaling Cards

Hi all! Polly Shannon here to get your wheels turning. Do you ever see the many [many, many, many] cute journaling cards in the shop and think “wow, I’d love to use those but I don’t do Project Life…”? I’m here today to show you how you can use those adorable cards on your traditional layouts! I’ve been perusing the gallery and found some layouts using the products if a few different ways, not a single one in a Project Life or pocket scrapping way. Check it out!

This layout by mrshobbes uses Press Cards No. 21 by Paislee Press.

This layout by Helen uses Oh Dearie Journaling Cards by Paislee Press.

Peppermint used Press Cards No. 18 by Paislee Press in her layout above.

Above, Justagirl used Project Mouse: Planning journaling cards by Sahlin Studio & Britt-ish Designs.

AmberR used Things That Go Vroom Vroom Journaling Cards by Micheline Martin.

And, finally, snaggletooth used Project Mouse: Bundle No. 1 Basics by Sahlin Studio & Britt-ish Designs.

Have I convinced you that journaling cards are not just for Project Life or pocket scrapping? I hope so! They have so many uses as a cute accent next to a photo, word art, or as a plain ol’ piece of paper. But that’s not all! You could get creative and use them to frame your photo. Maybe peeking out as a place to write the date? Challenge yourself and see what different ways you can think of to use them on a traditional layout!
