Confetti Pockets
I don’t know about you, but every time I see confetti, I think “celebration”, “party”, and “FUN”! Confetti makes me happy, especially when it’s made of many colors!
Here’s some confetti inspiration I found on Pinterest.

I wanted to incorporate confetti into my Project Life scrapbooking, and into some birthday cards, but I wanted to contain the confetti so it isn’t so messy. So… vellum pockets to the rescue!
I cut vellum into the sizes I wanted. In my Project Life album, I wanted the confetti to fit into the 3×4 pocket, so I cut two pieces of vellum just slightly smaller than 3×4. Then I put a handful of confetti in between the two pieces of vellum, staying away from the edges. Then I carefully sewed the two vellum pieces together with my sewing machine.
I also punched some vellum circles with my circle punch and sewed confetti into them, just like the rectangle ones.
My confetti vellum pocket fit perfectly into my 3×4 pocket in my Project Life page!
And I incorporated the confetti vellum circles into these birthday cards.
Still think confetti is too messy? Then the perfect solution are these digital confetti by Sara Gleason (Zinnias & Swallowtails)!
