Displaying your photos!

Being a scrapper was what first got me interested in photography. I realized that having a beautiful photo can make all of the difference on a page. Now I’m not saying a beautiful photo is necessary, but it definitely helps! I also started taking more photos, which means I ended up with far more photos that I love then I can scrap. (I’m a slow scrapper). Or I have a ton of photos from the same event that didn’t make the cut for the page I made, but I still love. And while I would look at them sometimes (mostly on Facebook), I didn’t get to see them nearly as often as I would have liked.

Which is why I made this.

It’s just 50 4×4 photos with a white border hung from baker’s twine with these teeny tiny little clothespins.

Here’s a close up to give you a better idea.

It’s super super easy and I absolutely adore it! It’s hanging right above my desk and seriously makes me happy every time I look up.

What I did was made a template for 12×12 sized prints and put 9 4×4 squares with a white border around each one. I got these printed along with some of my layouts and cut them out. Then I laid them on the floor to decide how I wanted to arrange them. Then I used some pushpins to stretch some twine across the wall and just hung the photos with the clothespins! What I love about this is that I can totally swap out the photos whenever I want!

So go print out your photos!! I guarantee it will brighten your day to see them on paper in front of you.
