Date it Creatively
I love date elements! The are just so cool and can add that little something to any LO especially when used creatively. If you are anything like me the idea of having a cool looking date element vs implementing said idea isn’t always easy than you must check out these LOs that I found in the gallery for inspiration.
This is a fabulous LO by Sherly showing how easy it is to work in a date with it being so, well boring. With the use of a stamp and a great alpha she has one fabulous date that flows so well with this LO.
This LO by Jenny has just the added touch needed to emphasis the date. Notice the small tab used in the upper right which is totally separate from the “26” which is big and flows so well under the bow on this page. Just that one touch makes quite the difference.
Ever look at those date stamps that have all the numbers and years in strips and wonder “what am I going to do with that? ” Well KarenC shows exactly what do and to really make it flow with the LO. With the journaling along the bottom of the page that date stamp doesn’t seem awkward it is perfectly balanced and falls right in.
Here mommatrish shows us not only how to use date cards but how to make them the entire focus of the LO. A year in review is perfectly summarized with big clear monthly dates.
Here Carly shows us how to have fun with dates. It doesn’t have to be the same font, all lined up and small. No have fun with your date elements and have it fit in perfectly to the mood of your page like this.
