Living in the peak of the digital age, we all want to look our best on social media. While we all know and love Photoshop and Lightroom, they aren’t always the most time-conscious photo editing options. Many of us want to snap a picture, write a clever caption, and upload. However, the perfect photo is few and far in between. The photo is too dark, my teeth don’t look white enough (coming from an avid coffee drinker), the list starts to pile up as soon as we observe the picture we just snapped. I am going to be sharing 3 user friendly and convenient photo editing apps for when you’re in a pinch and that picture you want to share is almost perfect. You can even use these edited photos later for your digital layouts!
1. Facetune
Facetune is one of the most noteworthy on the go photo editing apps. This app has made its way across the digital sphere, from Influencers to average social media users trying to up their selfie game. Facetune app users are able to whiten their teeth, adjust the brightness, smooth any part of the image, fix red eyes, patch over any acne. Using the app is so easy, and allows users to edit pictures in a snap. Users are able to upload existing photos from their camera roll, or take a picture directly in the app and then start editing immediately. You can share your beautifully edited photo to directly to Instagram or download it and save it for later! The apps overall ease of use and versatility make it an essential for any social media guru.
2. VSCO
VSCO is a photography mobile app that is most similar to Lightroom when you are in a pinch. The app has your standard photo editing features such as adjusting exposure and contrast and image cropping. The magical feature that makes VSCO so popular is the presets that this app boasts. It takes your image from drab to fab in seconds by instantly boosting your image in a matter of a few taps. The user also wields the ability to save a photo “recipe”. This allows the user to save the way they have edited a photo to their liking. This enables editing with ease and the ability to apply the saved recipe and recreate your favorite edits on any image in your VSCO studio. You can save and share your photo to social media per usual or share your image to the VSCO community.

3. PicsArt Photo Studio
PicsArt Photo Studio is the most artistically inclined photo editing app out of the two other photo editing options. PicsArt has your standard photo editing options and photo effects. PicsArt has the ability to create collages, use backgrounds, draw on the image, and add in len flares. The possibilities are endless with PicsArt. You can even edit your videos and add effects to them if you are an Instagrammer that shares video content. You can share your images with the PicsArt community and other social networks like Facebook and Instagram. PicsArt is a great option for a one-stop-shop for any artsy Instagrammer. I have included in image utilizing the mind blowing “dispersion tool” on the PicsArt app.
