So yesterday I was all set to upload my calendar design onto a site to print (and take advantage of 50%off!) But lo and behold, they did not support .jpegs. (Okay that seems totally crazy to me, but whatcha gonna do?) But they did support PDFs.
And that’s how I got shoved into the lovely world of PDFs. So I was thinking, what a great Lilypad T&T (at least I hope it is helpful to you, lol)
Now first of all you need to have Adobe Acrobat already on your system. Which if you are like me and all over the web, you probably have and it is updated regularly by Adobe whether you like it or not.
Next, open you jpeg in your Photoshop program. I am using PSE 7. Then go to SAVE AS. When the box opens up choose PHOTOSHOP PDF (*.PDF,*.PDP).
Whoo hoo. Now you have a PDF.
You will need to do this to all the documents you want to be in a PDF document. Now if you want all the images to be in one PDF document that you can stroll through, you can download a free application to merge the pages. I used PDFSAM. The process is pretty straight forward in the application.
Now that is all I learned. So I hope you learned something too. Now go forth and use this information for good :).
And have a happy day!
