Summer Camp Spotlight 1

Hello and happy Summer Camp to everyone! It’s Polly Karen here bringing you a twist on my normal spotlight posts. This summer we are taking you to Summer Camp with weekly themes, games and challenges in the forum. For this post, I’m going to shine my spotlight on a few layouts created for the weekly challenges posted so far. If you’d like more information about our fun Summer Camp, check out The Summer Camp area in the forum. Summer Camp will continue through the end of August, so there is still plenty of time to jump in on the fun. There are two challenges each week and we are currently at the beginning of week 5.

Week 1 Challenge, Ready, Set, Go! – Complete the steps of a recipe challenge listed in the forum:

Week 1 Challenge, Color Race – Start with a blank canvas, add a B&W photo of yourself, then add bursts/splashes of color:

Week 2 Challenge, Ziplining – Create a layout using strong diagonal lines or triangular shapes and create a sense of movement:

Week 2 Challenge, Hiking – Create a layout about a journey of personal growth, progress or a milestone:

Week 3 Challenge, Making Waves – Channel the movement and energy of making waves:

Week 3 Challenge, Deep Dive – Create a layout that dives deep into any one topic, also use deep, bold blues or watery elements:

Week 4 Challenge, Barnyard Buddies – Create a layout about a special animal in your life or your favorite animal:

Week 4 Challenge, Back in the Saddle – Create a layout about resilience, about a setback you’ve faced or something you’re overcome or a dream you want to chase:

Yahoo! How is that for a pile of amazing layouts!?! I loved seeing all of the great interpretations for each of these challenges and I love seeing everyone who has been playing along too! I wanted to pick SO many more pages, but had to show restraint! I’ll be back around this time next month so showcase more layouts for the second half of Summer Camp! Until then, happy camping!
