Polly Picks — Rachel

We are back with another installment of Polly Picks!  The Polly we will be featuring this week is Rachel (stampin_rachel).  Pouring over Rachel’s gallery you will find quite the eclectic mix of layouts.  Clean and simple?!  She’s got it!  Messy art journaling?!  Oh yes, that is displayed in her gallery too.  Rachel amazes us by switching her style of scrapping to fit the mood of the story she is capturing.  Digging deeper into Rachel gallery you notice that her favorite elements to use on layouts are tape, word bits and paint and stamping.  She is also skilled at bold, fun title work and mixing alphas. My style varies greatly – from clean and simple to messy art journaling. I love using brushes, tape, and stitches.

Rachel’s layouts almost always have a central point on the page with a bit of white space around it.  She uses all her favorite elements to draw your eye into the story she is conveying.  Rachel’s layouts are never complete without an eye-catching title.  Many of these are formed from alphas that she blends subtly into the background of her layouts.
