You cannot help but feel a little joy when you cross paths with Renne of ForeverJoy Designs. She is such an amazing designer and quite an inspiration. I just adore her whimsical personality and I am sure that I am not alone in celebrating the excitement of her new home at The Lilypad. If you are new to ForeverJoy Designs now is the perfect time to try out her style, while it’s on sale!
We asked Renne to tell us a little bit about her scrapping style and this is what she had to say:
“I would say that my style is to tell a story first- and usually I do that by focusing on one moment in time. A freeze frame of sorts. It’s like I push pause on one memory and zoom in. I don’t always do a lot of word journaling- but will use often a word art title or a series or pieces of word art to tell my story- and I always add a little bit of symbolism or word play that may not be apparent to anyone but me. I always try to be a minimalist because I love that look- but somehow -I can never focus on just one thing in my scrapping stash- and I often add a cluster of ellies and a bit of paints that take my layouts about 3 steps beyond minimal. And color! No way can I reign myself into a pallete of 3- I love out loud color- and even if I try and go neutral, I will always find myself looking to add a pop of an outrageous hue!”
Not only is this lady a fantastic designer, but look at how she scraps! This fabulous fall creation is filled with one stunning layer after another! You cannot help but fall head over heals for the precious photos.
You cannot resist the charm of this little beauty. Check out the fun frames both in the background paper and as embellishments framing the adorable photos on the page.
This fun page has me in stitches. I am captured by the bold title and word art on the page and can totally relate to the subject having been a handful of a teenager myself.
Last but not least is this precious Halloween layout. I really love a blocked style page. Especially for events that include lots of photos. Renne really knocks this one out of the park in the way she has added lots of photos as well as embellishments yet the page does not seem too cluttered to see the focus.
You can shop Renne’s style during the Polly Pick feature. Check out the weekly challenge forum for a brand new Polly Pick Challenge and the announcement of the last Polly Pick.
