Memory Pockets Monthly June Collection PROMISE

Hello everyone! It’s Polly Melanie here with the monthly roundup of everything happening in the word of Memory Pockets Monthly (MPM)! And there is so much going on!

The collection this month is called PROMISE and it is beautiful! There are so many ways to interpret this month’s theme. Promise. What does that word mean to you? A promise to yourself or to others. A promise to love your family & friends and to always be there for them. A promise to live an awesome life, to be adventurous, and to travel to exciting places! There is such a variety of cards & elements to help you scrap whatever is happening in your life this month!

What is Memory Pockets Monthly? MPM is the monthly pocket scrapbooking subscription here at the Lilypad. Each month, our six very talented MPM designers create a single collection for all your pocket scrapbooking needs. They also create a wide variety of add-ons to complement the main collection.

This month it’s designer Valorie Wibbens’ turn to host a challenge, and she came up with a really unique idea. This month, she challenges you to print some of your journal or filler cards on transparencies! I had never tried printing a card on a transparency, so I had fun playing with this! Here are my June opening pages (I also have another set where I printed the June calendar on a transparency, and I can’t decide which layout I like better! You can the second set here):

Polly Sarah always does cool stuff with the MPM collections in her blog posts! This month she used the PROMISE collection to create her own hybrid scrapbook kit!

In our exclusive MPM forum, I started a tutorial series called “Parts of a Pocket Page.” This month we are looking at photos and all the things you can do with photos in your pocket pages, from adding white borders to mixing black & white photos with colours & more! For example, in Nancy’s lovely pocket page, she used white borders & templates for her photos:
