Okay, I’ll admit it, I’m a sucker for a great song. I sing aloud in the car, the shower, there is always a song in my head. One way that I love to start a page is by using song lyrics as my inspiration. We thought it would be fun to share some lyrics that inspire us here on our pad’s blog. We hope you enjoy this series and can be inspired too.
So I’m first (it’s Polly Tania in case you were wondering) and I’m sharing a mini-album this time. The song I chose was “Godspeed (Sweet Dreams)” by The Dixie Chicks. I used all the lyrics in the song and put each verse on it’s own page and then used the chorus 3 times to balance out the two page spreads.
So I have to admit here that I’ve been having some computer issues and didn’t get my mini-album printed in time to share with you, so I’ll just show you the 7 digital pages here. I’ll print the pages at 5in x 5in and then mount (hodge podge) them to a small chipboard book I have in my stash.
So there’s my little man, and one of my favorite songs that reminds me so much of him. He’s gonna love it, I just know it. And how perfect was that Dream Word Art by Sahlin Studios for this? Yep, perfect.
