Hey everyone. Sarah here with another installment of our Holiday Project Parade. Make sure to check out Part 1 as well. The Pollys have been busy behind the scenes creating some amazing projects from the month’s Holiday Project Parade category in the TLP store.
Cynthia created a digital layout using Shabby Pocket – Document Your December by Etc. by Danyale and Merry + Bright Word Bits by Just Jaimee.
Cynthia used the pockets and tucked little bits and pieces of her holiday memories into them for this fun layout.
Lori created Christmas Tree ornaments using Merry Days: Patterns & Backgrounds by Allison Pennington.
Lori says: Using a paper pack such as Allison’s Merry Day’s Patterns & Backgrounds makes it simple to create fun and color coordinated ornaments. I printed these on cardstock paper and with the help of a hot glue gun (makes it so much easier!) had some new decorations for my holiday decor.
Anne created a digital layout with Advent {story seeds} by Sara Gleason.
Anne used Sara’s story seeds to help her tell the story of what is important to her at Christmas time.
Lorry created a card and matching envelope using Happy Huladays by Forever Joy Designs.
Lorry says: I used my Silhouette Portrait to print-and-cut the elements from the kit. I cut the ‘waves’ by hand. I printed on both sides of a sheet of paper and cut an envelope shape with the Silhouette. Everything is done on cardstock and attached with double-sided adhesive.
Farrah created a home decor piece using Cut it Out Joy by Valorie Wibbens.
The simplicity of just the reindeer head with the red pompom nose on the canvas helps create a striking piece of holiday art.
Sarah created a pocket scrapping art journaling page using Counting the Days Papers and Elements by Pink Reptile Designs.
Sarah says: How I do my Christmas shopping has changed so much over the past few years. I thought it would be fun to document these changes in my Snap! Art Journal album.
Kristina created a memory match game using Krafty Christmas Cards by Jacque Larsen.
Kristina says: For this activity, I just printed out two copies of Jacque’s included PDF files. I cut them out, and we have a really fast memory game! My children are going to love flipping each card over, one at a time, to find the matching card.
Brynne Marie used Santa’s Little Helpers by Kate Hadfield to create a mock up cover for her December Daily album.
Brynne Marie says: Each December for the last couple of years I have started a December Daily album. Each year I have also failed to complete said album. We live pretty far from most of our extended family so there are really many holiday get togethers and traditions to document. We do a lot of fun things and keep very busy, but there just never seems to be enough to fill an entire album. This year I had decided that I wasn’t even going to start an album until a few days into the month when I realized there is one thing that we consistently do in December everyday from the 1st – 25th…Elf on a Shelf. So this mock up will eventually become a hybrid title page for our 4×4 Elf on a Shelf album. I won’t actually assemble the album until early 2016 so these quick little mock ups I do throughout the month, give me a head start when it comes time to put it all together.
Susanne created a layout using Just Around the Corner Christmas Elements by Little Butterfly Wings.
The title and embellishments from this element pack create just the right finishing touches for Susanne’s lovely layout.
Sarah created some note cards using Just Around the Corner Christmas Journal Cards by Little Butterfly Wings.
Sarah says: I created some fun and simple note cards by printing and cutting out these gorgeous notecards. Keep them in your wallet or planner for a handy way to jot down holiday lists and notes. Even the filler cards I use as note cards by writing on the back.
Jewelle decorated her December calendar with A Season to Remember Papers and Elements by Amber Labau.
Jewelle says: Amber’s Season to Remember Papers and Elements are perfect for sprucing creating custom washi tape, calendar boxes, and design stickers for my monthly planner spread! I took Amber’s digital papers and printed them out on sticker paper. along with some of her elements. I then trimmed the stickers pieces to size, and applied them to my spread!
Jewelle also used the Season to Remember Papers and Elements along with Sara Gleason’s Pear Tree Mini Album to create a December Daily page.
Jewelle says: December Daily’s do not have to be completed during the holidays! Sara’s Pear Tree Album allowed me to quickly put together a spread for my 2014 December Daily album that I am working on. There is no need to over think about placement with these templates as a framework for my album. Sara also includes numbers for your spreads that can easily be printed on vellum to add a bit of see through texture to the layout!
Sarah created a planner insert using There’s Something about Merry Elements by One Little Bird.
Sarah says: With extra obligations during the holidays, I’m finding that the typical to do space that I have in my planner just isn’t cutting it, so I created a to do list insert to place in the front of my planner to keep track of all of my extra holiday tasks. I added labels to give emphasis to the most important tasks. Adding elements to your to do lists add the perfect touch to what would be an otherwise mundane page.
I hope you’ve enjoyed this installment of the Project Parade. Hopefully we have given you some ideas to help you create your own fun projects this holiday season.

Love them all!! PS, my kids totally loved the cards. Flipping them over was way more fun to them than I thought it would be!
