Gallery Spotlight and a big Welcome!
Polly Martina here, it’s my very first blogpost and I’m excited to present another gallery spotlight today. Every Tuesday we Pollywogs go through the public gallery and pick some layouts which will be spotted on the blog. The gallery is full of creativity from the talented scrappers, it’s so hard to chose only a couple.But it’s joyful and brings a lot of fun and inpiration, just take a look and find your very own favourite.

My first pick is from Iavana Alves with her layout called Tô P da Vida !! (I’m Angry)
I really love her emotions expressed in this page! The graphic style of her is so inspiring, I love to look at Ivanas pages. Her layering is masterpiece and it’s a pity that I can’t read her journaling, but all the design around is so creative. Just take a look at the colored words in the cloud. She’s so talented in playing with alphas, the title and the bow going through the letter, just artful and tricky. All the little pictures create a flowing and expressive mood, the painted elements match perfectly in this page, too. Love her layering of the paper fixed with stitches.
and my second pick, I can’t help, it’s Baby Faces by dst212 (Daniela). Be honest who can resist these super adorable photos? I stared more than a minute at this page and wasn’t able to stop smiling. The boy’s expressions are the cutest and I love the rounded egdes of the photos, also that she arranged it this way with the patterned colorful papers and the splashes and butterflies around. Her title work is funky with the orange alpha and again I would give everything to know what the journaling says. To frame the expression on the top is a wonderful idea to “crown” all the photos. Also her layering on the dark background with all the colorful papers create a colorful mood.

Welcome to Gina Miller as a new designer of The Lilypad.
