Hi everyone and welcome to the March challenges! This month I get to bring you the March Journaling Challenge. We are going to do an interview! Sometimes I find photos and journaling don't always capture everything that's going on, and I find that conducting an interview can be very informative and sometimes quite surprising and always a lot of fun! You can interview your family, your friends, your pet, your favourite stuffed animal, yourself, anything or anyone you want! Because this is a journaling challenge, your interview must consist of at least 5 questions and answers. As an added requirement, use a different font for the questions than the one you use for the answers, to make them stand out! I chose to interview my sons. Here is my page: A closer look - left: right: Remember our monthly challenge rules: Your page must contain at least 75% Lilypad product. Your page should be posted to the Lilypad Gallery and then linked to the March Challenge Layouts thread so it can be tracked, and to this thread. The Lilypad uses a percent system for our challenges; the number of challenges you participate in determines the store discount you will receive at the end of the month: 2 challenges = 10% off 4 challenges = 20% off 6 challenges = 30% off If you complete 7 challenges, you will receive a coupon for 30% off, plus you will be entered to win a $50 gift certificate from the Lilypad! The first seven challenges will be posted on the first of the month; the eighth challenge is the BYOC challenge, which is posted on BYOC release day. Each page counts for one challenge (you cannot use one layout for multiple challenges).
I thought this would be a fun page to go with my MOC layout summary page. It will remind me of the joys and the rewards.
mine is an imaginative conversation between my 2 nieces, I thought it is kind of an interview with 2 little kids
A little background: my son has been running the Yachats Gazette (you can google it!) since he was 8 years old for our little town of 600, now 750 inhabitants--almost 7 years! He's given hundreds of interviews himself, by now, so I thought it would be fun to do a little impromptu interview with him as the interviewee. Thanks for a fun challenge, Heather! =)
I felt a little bit like I cheated, because I always do an "interview" type page for my kids on their birthdays - but thank goodness for this challenge, because I am way behind on my poor middle child's book!
