I Found This QR Code Challenge A Bit Scary At First...Only Because I Didn't Know Anything About How To Do This QR Code Process...But I Was Interested To See How It All Worked...And So As It Turned Out...It Was Really Simple To Create...I Was Impressed With How Easy It Was!...So Great!...I Already Knew My Subject Matter As Soon As I Saw The Challenge...And Away I Went...

*I Just Adore Poppies!!!!!!!!!!...If You Know Me Or Have Ever Browsed Some/Any Of The Layouts In My Gallery... You Probably Already Know That I Scrap About Poppies Anytime I Get The Chance To Do So...I Have A Pinterest Page That Is All About Poppies...It Is Called:...[Wait For It]...I Love Poppies!...So I Knew That My QR Code Was Gonna Be The Link To My "I Love Poppies" Pinterest Page...Now It Should Take You There...But I Don't Own A Smart Phone...So I Couldn't Check The Code...I Hope It Works...I Wish I Could See That In Action...But Either Way...Maybe You Might Enjoy Looking At Some Of My Multiple Poppy Photos There Of Pretty Much Anything Poppy Related That I Liked & Found...I Still Add To It Regularly...I Had Fun With The Whole Process & Had Fun Learning Something New That I Wouldn't Have Ever Thought About Otherwise...I Think I May Use This Again In Some Of My Future Layouts...

attention all... please read this .... i loved learning about the QR code and after a bit of a challenge i was able to do it and also had changed my status of a youtube video so that anyone with link could see it . it worked perfectly . i tried it a few times. it is a slide show that i make for each of my grandkids first birthday of photos from their first year. i just got an email from goggle/youtube that it violated their rules about children

How your content violated the policy
We have zero tolerance for predatory behavior on YouTube. Content that sexualizes minors in any way is not allowed on YouTube.

i have appealed it but now it wont work and i cant change it to private etc. and i was so excited to coordinate his birthday photos in this scrapbook page with his slide show. ugh. i dont know now what to do or how i can share the slide show. maybe with vimeo? i dont know and am not happy right now. i was so happy with the layout and about to share with my adult kids ( the parents of the birthday boy and aunts ) i hope you can still accept my layout and hoping this get cleared up with you tube. does anyone have suggestions?

i have now redone the QR code to link it to animoto the site i use to make my slide shows and it is working

i've gotten several emails from YouTube about the changes they were going to be making in regards to videos for children. I'm glad they are taking these things seriously, because so many kids watch YouTube now (mine included) but your video seems absolutely harmless, so it's a shame you had to revise and rehost it. Glad you found a solution at least. :agree
 
Thank you so much for the awesome challenge - this is something I will use in the future in my scrapbook albums!!! The QR code goes to my Instagram account where the video is now located.

 
Oh my goodness, the code works!! It takes you to Youtube to the page of the memorial video of my sweet husband. The video is made up of MANY of the digital pages I've made about Brian over the years. It made me cry again, but I'm so thankful for the 51 years we had together. Thank you for this challenge.

Can I link to an existing YouTube video? How would I do that? OK, I think I figured it out (hopefully!). Made my QR code - now to make my page!

Thank you for the fun challenge! It was definitely a learning challenge for me!!! I wanted to do a page in remembrance of Elvis's birthday on January 8th.
