January 4: Photo blended into background

Did mine with photos from the beach yesterday, the weather was really really bad and all my beach kits are summery!



Journaling (in Dutch) reads:
We went for a nice walk on the beach. We thought. But once at the top of the dunes top we got hit by loads of wind and hail. Luckily we had the wind in the back on the beach, but we all got soaking wet. All the dog enjoyed the 'dogs weather'

not the photo I would have chosen for blending, but as it needs to be a new photo (not complaining, completely agree on the new photo need) but as the only places I go lately are my bed and the kitchen, this seems the best option :)

 
Normally I Embrace Blending Challenges...I Do A Lot Of Blending...But The Technique Used Here...Is Not How I Do My Blending...I Couldn't Get The Technique To Work That Well In PSE...I Did Check Out The PSE Tutorial...But My Mask Button Isn't Where She Said It Should Be...I Did Find It...But It Wouldn't Open...It Was Locked When I Tried To Do Those Steps...So I Took A Stab Creating My Page Anyway...Blending My Photo Into A Paper As Directed...Either Way...If This Is Not Acceptable Let Me Know...I'll Have To Talk To Get More Instruction...I Was 3 Pages Behind & I Really Wanted To Get This Page Done Today...Now I'm Only 1 Behind...I Finished The Clean & Simple Challenge Earlier Today...

Seeing That This Is A Photo Challenge...I Took Some Pics Of A Bouquet Of Flowers Ray Gave Me A Few Days Ago...Luckily A Few Turned Out Great!...He Was Trying To Cheer Me Up!...I've Been Pretty Sick The Last Few Days & Months...I Had A Rather Rough Day & Night That Day...The Flowers Were Beautiful!...& They Did Cheer Me Up!...Glad I Got Some Pics! Of Them...Usually My Pics Don't Turn Out That Great!...So Happy! They Did!...Trying To Take Better Photos!...

Farrah, thanks for the challenge! It seems like I'm doing a lot of Christmas layouts so far! Unusual for me... :huh

This was hard Farrah!! :giggle But only because I really wanted to take a lovely landscape shot for this challenge but it's just miserable out there .. horrible gloomy weather and increasing covid cases make me not want to go anywhere. So I decided to take a photo of my happy place ... right here at home!

I had a heck of a time trying to keep from covering up the evidence of the photo being blended, lol! Still, in the end, I am pleased with Oreo's first ever scrapbook page!

I wanted to use an outdoor picture for this, but the weather has been bad. Then I stumbled upon this scene. The highstreet looked so bright, with all the lights reflecting on the wet paving.
