Hmmmmm... I’ll have to sleep on this one. I’m thinking maybe a winter forest scene or a space scene.
Hmmmm? Product elements you make or in the store?
Yes to store, but no to out of your own photo. That would be fun to see(I’m intrigued) but not the spirit of the challenge of no photos
It's a product element and the first thing that popped into my mind.
Oh this was a lot of fun. Thank you for the challenge.
@AnneofAlamo ...I'm Not Sure How To Do This Challenge At All!...I Get The Layering Part I Think...How Are We Supposed To Cut The Holes In The Papers Like This?...Warping?...I Don't Think That Is In PSE?...That's The Program I Have?...Everyone's Looks So Precise?...Guidance Please...Thanks!...Rhonda
WOW... You were crazy early with this one!!! and look at how many people were just sitting around waiting for you... Well tonight I got caught up to today.. have not even thought about it... 3 more to go!!!
I hope my shadows are deep enough. I had soooooooooo much fun creating this page.
such a fun, thank you for the Challenge!
I don't have PSE but an easy way to do a square or rectangle would be to use the Marquee tool (I think the shortcut key is M but it looks like a dashed edge square/rectangle.) If you drag in 2 papers & then click the top paper to make it 'active', hit M then drag out a shape in the middle of your page, then go to Select pull down menu & choose Invert (I hit Ctrl shift I in Photoshop to select the inverse but I'm not sure if its the same) then hit delete, it will cut that shape out of the top paper.
(Alternately if you can use 'brushes', you can possibly load & use a brush of any shape on a new layer. Hit B to activate your brush tool & just click to stamp it once, then click on the little avatar/thumbnail of what you stamped in the Layers Palette to get marching ants around the perimeter of the shape & then activate the paper layer & hit delete - if you hide the brush layer, you should be able to see it has worked and 'cut out' the brush/stamp
I have deleted this post, because it seemed to be more a hindrance than a help, and I do not want anyone else to get more frustrated than they already were. Sorry, I think I did not make it clear that you delete on the layer beneath .
Thanks for the fun Anne!
This was such a fun challenge. Thanks!
I do that ... my simple world in 2016 (for the front page of the 2016 album ... I know I'm late ....)
Thank you for this challenge !
This was a fun one, Anne!!
Hope I added enough shadows that you can see the book depth.
