January 25th : Art Doll (Style Challenge)

full

today is the 5th anniversary of our grandson being born still. i was planning to scrap about it and do every year on this day so the challenge worked perfectly. i have never did a doll before but it was fun and allowed me to spend the hours with oliver. obviously i chose winter as that is his anniversary

wow these are all so great and fun. i agree that for me a hard part was finding what to use to make the doll in addition to the templates ( thank you for the templates). how do people search their stash and find things. I had once suggested that the designers name each item for what it is so for example if i wanted to find faces that all the faces in my stash would come up. some designers do use names but not all and not consistantly. it really would be helpful and then easier and less time consuming to search for things to use. just an idea to consider. love to hear from others how they search their stash and how they find the things they needed to make the doll

Been at this one off and on all day :( . Didn't realize I had lost my enthusiasm for art dolls of the digital kind. I love making cloth ones. STiLL, a Very cReAtIve challenge and gonna finish!
Done now, and maybe it was more that when my EHD fell two months ago, I lost ALL my TLP stash. So trying to pull a page together for this one was not easy.
But it is done! Some absolutely inspired pages in this thread- wowoowowow!

Please, oh please, oh please count this! This is as "predominant" as I could make my little angel person and still make this page feel like me! Thanks for pushing my comfort zone - I never would have tried this on my own!

Edited to add - I was inspired by spring! And this favorite poem. :)

A Difficult Challenge, but thanks learned new things today with Photoshop exploring hex codes to color the doll...
Inspiration: Music, Summer and besides going to WDW on June.
