Great challenge, Tracie @tkradtke! I was convinced that I would need to take out my DSLR for this and then despairing because it has been so grey and foggy here in the dead of winter with little snow, so I wasn't sure if I would be having any luck in finding something worth photographing. And it was my birthday when this challenge came out. I was pleasantly surprised that, while intentionally trying to blur the foreground using my phone camera in portrait mode, it worked on some of the dinner shots! The three photos on the left all have blurred foregrounds. Thanks for introducing this technique to me and I will play with it in the spring when the color comes back into my world.
This can't be any fresher!! I came back from lunch about 2 hours ago and made this page for this challenge lol
The biggest photo has been taken so that my plate is blurry and the focus goes on my husband.
And actually I tried another one with the cappuccino cup blurred in the foreground and the dessert in the back.
That is all my iPhone 11 could do but I hope this will be enough.
If not of course I will have to take out the big camera and try for something else. Just let me know!
This was a tough one... but I was inspired by today's rain... here is my page. The journaling reads...
Jack the spaniel lay in his favorite spot behind a philodendron staring motionlessly at the pool and pondering the absurdity of his existence. He wasn't allowed to leave the terrace because his humans didn't want him to get wet in the rain, yet if it were sunny, he'd be in the pool getting wet to his humans' delight...
Thanks for this challenge! It was not that easy, I must say.
It's funny, I found in the kit a cotton branch that corresponds to what is blurred in my photo. I like it.
