January 24: Blurring the Foreground

These are all so beautiful and creative! I'm still pondering what to shoot. Maybe I'll find something in this weekend's cheer competition, like my daughter hiding in the back row, lolol.

I just took this tree down but had to get photos first! I was focusing on the snow outside! Thanks for the challenge!

This was definitely a new technique for me! I only use my phone for pictures so I wasn't sure how it would turn out!

Gee ... this was a hard one. I had no idea - but as soon as I gave up thinking about it - the idea came. Thanks for the challenge - here's my layout:

We call this chair the 'viral Bunnings chair' (Bunnings being a local hardware chain) because you see it everywhere and on every staged home on real estate listings. It's cheap and rusts, but it still makes me happy to see in this sunny spot in the garden!

Here's my layout for this challenge. This was a difficult photo to take, blurring the foreground. We had to dig out our 35mm camera because my phone had everything in focus. The pine tree branches are blurred and the mail box is in focus in this photo.

I framed my blurred picture in the middle. I thought it was cool how It blurred the croissant I was holding, my hand is in perfect focus.
