January 23: Stitched Down Stuff

Ok so I don't see anyone else that stitched down paper blocks too - I didn't count them in my elements, so I hope it's ok!

I have 6 rows of stitching with 5+ elements on each. Credits in gallery.

Well... the big thick elements being stitched down is more that it's one of my recommendation. It is not one of the "rules" or "requirements" so while I will cringe if you use a chunk of metal or a rock under stitching, it's not breaking the rules. I wanted to allow as much freedom as possible for this one. Does that help?

This was so much fun, I just went crazy using whatever I found that appealed to me. I did use one element that was pre stitched but placed it under one of the lines of stitching.

EDITED: Now that I re-read your instructions, I realize that circles alone probably won't work since you are looking for rows or columns, but I might still be able to make this layout work.

Can I do 5 rows of stitches across the top of these stitched circles and everything they're holding down? Then I will have made rows, and there will be a lot more than 5 elements under each row.
