January 15: Paper Blending (Technique Challenge)

I love blending so this challenge was perfect :) There's about 6 different papers blended here with a range of blend modes and the main photo sandwiched in between. I also blended some elements and my fonts.
 
I really liked how the blend "muted" the number pattern paper, which was perfect for journaling on top.
 
I like blending! I used 4 different papers with various opacities, blended the photo mask, duplicated the photo mask, cropped just the moon and blended the edges to the original mask.
 
Loved this challenge... need to remember to play with blended papers more often. It was fun. I blended the text paper over the striped paper and used a darken blend mode on the text paper. I also used a soft round brush at about 50% opacity and softened the text in a few places.

 
Blended three different papers and then used the brushes to mask parts of it out again.

 
You are so right blending is so addictive! Might be easier to list was isn't blended on this layout! Most things are blended, except flair, one photo and 2 transfers.
 
I Blended 3 papers from Amy Wolff kit: FreshAir…solid pink#4, Background #8 used Screen Blend & Background #5 I used Multiply Blend;

 
I blended a black and white patterned paper into a solid yellow paper for my background - both from Amy Wolff's Giddy kit.
 
Here is my layout:



I blended a grey wood grain patterned paper with a solid blue paper for the background paper.
 
I used two papers from the Happy collaboration kit - a white textured one and a floral one. I used the linear burn mode and lowered the opacity on the floral paper.
