Fav layout Day 15-21 {Week 3}

It's a tie for me from this past week!
I'm so happy with how this one came out, it started as a conceptual idea and then evolved into design that fit the concept, and it looks a lot like how I wanted it to in my head. I had such a hard time getting a third element onto the page (this was the recipe challenge) but finally wedged in those staples.

I'm also quite pleased with this one, thanks for a great challenge! I think the highlight of the week for me was reading everyone's username stories.

it is tough but I need to go with this one as I loved our trip to the UK and seeing this always makes me smile and reminisce :)

Ohhh, I only just found this. I think I'm liking this forum on TLP more than FB! :D
So, a favourite....ummmm that's tough! But I have to say my User name because I have been wanting to scrap my 'name story' for me for a while and I so wanted to explain the pronounciation too! Honestly, it's really not that hard! :) LOL But I simply LOVE the kit Besotted Kit by Dawn Inskip, It's my most favourite ever! (So I too am going to cheat a little and say the one from Day 13 as well they go together in my mind as I used the same kit which I adore.) I should be scrapping but I'm still waiting for Day 22! :D hee hee. It's 11:30 pm here so it can't be too much further away. (Have I mentioned that I'm LOVING THIS!!!)? :) :) :)

This is my favorite this week.
I'm usually not a fan of minimalistic and clean and simple templates. So I took a run with the template. And out of your comfort zone, is where the magic happens. So yeah, this is my fave.

I loved your username challenge and your username origin too. It was a chance to get some thoughts out.

O, I wish there were more layouts in this thread already! It's so much fun to look at each of them and read why people chose this one as their most special one.
If I had to name one challenge that I liked the most, it would be the name-challenge because the stories are captivating, fun, touching, and so informative. The layout I created for this one only comes in as a close second, though, as I am still unhappy with the colors of the font (I already tried to switch the brown and white but didn't like that either)

And, if I may be frank, it kind of helped to read about other ladies leaving behind names that tied them to family members or memories they didn't cherish. I often feel guilty for not liking my grandmother anymore, and it helped me to read those other stories.

My favorite layout would be this one, though, as I rarely scrap in such bright colors, but considering the topic, this is the best I could've done to showcase the quality of the moment.

This was my favorite this week- The colors & photos & everything just came together so perfectly!

Here is my favorite - I love this template and had fun looking back through lots of photos. And I learned a lot about clipping papers. Plus how can Hunting for Happiness not be fun! Awesome challenge.

:flirtyJack is my secrete boyfriend. Shhhh, don't tell my husband. Thus this is my favorite week 3 LO:

On a serious note, I am seriously inspired by other artist. It was amazing seeing some of the original sets from The Nightmare Before Christmas along with some of the conceptual sketches. Seriously :cloud9

This was a good week. My favourite page of my own is Day 16 the off centre focus photo. This was easy for me and, again, I loved the freedom to create whatever I wanted. Just love these photos of DD and it's a fun little memory.

Saying that, the most interesting challenge as an observer was yours, the aka journaling. I really hope that the threads stay up a while because I want to read through so many more of the layouts made for this challenge.

Week 3? Day 21 for sure.
This page speaks to issues that some who are close to me are dealing with- be it dreams, relationships, or life itself, coming to life. This page was great fun to create, because it actually looks like what I had in my mind's eye. :D

It was a hard choice as I have two I particularly liked from those days. But ultimately I decided on this one. It gave me a chance to tell a story and use a photo I wanted to scrap in a meaningful way + I was able to use the color purple (one of my favorites).

I think this week my fave was a toss-up between the alpha clipping title challenge (felt pretty zen and chilled creating that ) & Kayla's big photo recipe - it was the whole summer holiday feeling that i was able to get lost in while creating it and looking at the view... so not sure, can't decide, so just posting thumbnails

It was a bit of a toss-up between username and recipe, but I went with the recipe challenge because I love this photo sooooo much
