...IT Happens-May 2025 Slow Scrap Challenge

As the saying goes "IT HAPPENS". Sometimes things happen for unknown reasons.

Going with the technology glitch we had with the May challenges, we have currently tallied all of the May Challenges that were made and posted prior to the glitch. The discount coupons and Gift Card winner will still be sent out at the end of May for those challenges that were completed by May 16th when the glitch happened. We appreciate everyone who participated, and very sorry for the technical difficulties.

For those that completed only 1 challenge, we will be sending you a 10% off store discount coupon to compensate for the early May challenge cutoff, after the June BYOC sales are over.

For those that completed 2-3 challenges, we will be sending you out the normal 10% off store discount coupon after the June BYOC sales are over.

For those that completed 4-5 challenges, we will be sending you out the normal 20% off store discount coupon after the June BYOC sales are over.

and

For those that completed 6-8 challenges, we will be sending you out the normal 30% off store discount coupon after the June BYOC sales are over.

We also will have a random drawing for a $20GC for those that participated already in completing 2 or more challenges for May before the early cut off. That winner will be announced and provided with the $20GC after the June BYOC Sales are over.

IT HAPPENS is our additional challenge for May. We are handling this like we do the "slow scraps" so when you have completed your page, please post here in this thread and also in the "Speed Scrap" gallery so we can make sure you are credited and entered!

The instructions are simple:

Scrap a page with an incident that has happened which was unexpected or did not go as planned. While you may have been unhappy about it, you can look back now and say "oh well" IT HAPPENS

Your page can have photos or be photoless, but must include a little story of journaling so we can understand the "It Happens" scenario.

You will have until May 31st to complete your page. Everyone who completes an "It Happens" page will be entered into a random drawing for a $5 GC.

Please post your completed layout in The Lilypad gallery under Speed Scraps and link here in this thread so we make sure to give you credit.

GALLERY RULES: Layouts must contain at least 75% TLP products. (Templates count as 15%) Uploads must be less than 250k. List all credits; no off-site linking allowed.
