Oh my goodness, love the journaling, great storytelling! Sorry that your lunch had so many issues. I like how you have the "wallow" line separated out from the other journaling. And I really like the look of the layered brushwork, and the font you used for "It happens". Wonderful page!!
Great page Jocelyn, and so glad we could give you the prompt to get this story down! All trips have to have 1 thing happen, so I am glad this was nothing major and an annoyance for sure. I am thrilled you had the wet wipes.. I do not leave home without them (even before covid) and keep some in my purse at all times!!! I giggled at what your Scott said.. my DH is similar! Love your title work, all the paint and your magazine style page documenting your oops. I love small town places normally to not get from chains for lunch/dinner but it is so annoying when it turns out not to your liking. Especially when it is so hot out.
